Lighting Project of the Month

Holy Cross Immaculata – Cincinnati, OH
The historic Holy Cross Immaculata Church in Cincinnati sits atop Mount Adams, while it's rose window overlooks the Cincinnati cityscape and across the Ohio River into Kentucky. For years, this gorgeous stained glass window was dark and lifeless, but now shines brightly over the city skyline, revealing its beautiful details and divine affinity.

LEDs to Last an Eternity
An eternal flame, but make it modern! This gorgeous and complex light fixture will soon be a Ner Tamid (Hebrew for Eternal Flame, or Eternal Light) at the Green Road Synagogue on the East side of Cleveland. It may easily have been our most complex design challenge this year, but we are beyond proud to have pulled it off with the support of local artist Laurel Herbold from 78th Street Studios and our friends at Beacon Metal Fabricators. Initial prototypes involved 3D printing prototypes and hand-bending of perforated metal sheet.

Society Restaurant and Lounge – Cleveland, OH
Sometimes the best part about working a long day is the happy hour that follows! Though an HLS happy hour is long overdue, our support goes out to the hurting restaurant industry who we have close working connections with. Society Restaurant and Lounge on East 4th street is one of them – we provided under-counter and overhead lighting solutions for the bar and tables.
